Scalar field on AdS: quantum one loop "in one line"
Abstract
It is shown that quantum oneloop potentials of the bulk fields in the Randall and Sundrum (RS) model may be immediately expressed in integrals with use of BarvinskyNesterov or equivalently GelfandYaglom methods of calculation of quantum determinants. Simple expression is obtained for the UVfinite difference of oneloop quantum energies for two arbitrary values of parameter of the doubletrace asymptotic boundary condition in onebrane and twobrane RSmodels. Compact formula for SchwingerDeWitt expansion gives values of induced Planck mass and induced gauge coupling constant in transverse space. SDW expansion is plagued by IRdivergences in onebrane RSmodel and makes sense in twobrane model.
